At DEMENTIA TOGETHER, we cultivate joy while building stronger connections– for those living with dementia, their care partners, and the community. Through education and enrichment, we make living well with dementia the expectation, not the exception. We lead and support innovative efforts to enhance well-being and hope.

“Never lose a holy curiosity.” - Albert Einstein

In dementia care, that mindset can transform daily interactions. Our most recent blog post explores the “Interesting Tool”—a powerful shift that helps care partners move from correcting facts to honoring feelings.

Conveying genuine interest that our loved ones with dementia feel a certain way is easy and authentic as we realize feelings are more important than facts for anyone living with the disability of dementia.

May is đź’™

At Dementia Together, we are reminded of the importance of compassion, connection, and support for individual people and families navigating dementia. A dementia diagnosis can be overwhelming, but no one has to walk that journey alone. Through dementia education, enrichment programs, care partner support, dementia resources, and community connection, we help people find hope and joy!

This month and every month, we’re committed to helping people live well with dementia.

We just received a new order of 2,000 Dementia Together Patient Resource Folders! 👏
Designed to help people living with cognitive decline and their care partners get quickly connected to dementia support, education, local resources, and practical strategies for living well.

These folders are distributed to medical providers across Northern Colorado, so local families can access help sooner and avoid the isolation and fear that often comes with a dementia diagnosis.

Thank you to our 2026 Patient Resource Folder Sponsor, .seniorliving.locator, as well as Eisai USA Foundation for helping to further our mission, and Windsor MailnCopy for collaborating with our team to get these printed.

Last week's meeting was both enlightening and eye-opening as we welcomed Sarah Arnold from Dementia Together.

Sarah shared more about the important work Dementia Together does to support individuals and families navigating dementia, along with their SPECAL method of care. Her presentation offered meaningful insight into how compassion, understanding, and the right approach can make a real difference for those living with dementia and the people who love them.

Thank you, Sarah, for joining us and sharing such valuable information with our club.
