Although oil and gas industry sites are the #1 cause of Colorado’s brown cloud of ozone smog, most pollution coming from oil and gas sites, including the powerful planet-warming gas methane, is invisible — to the naked eye, that is. But Andrew Klooster, certified thermographer and field organizer with Earthworks, can see this greenhouse gas pollution and other toxic chemicals with his optical gas imaging camera.
