Thursday, August 11th Fort Cares will be distributing Honor Food Packages at the Armed Services YMCA. Please follow the map for entering (off Screaming Eagle towards Gate 4) and exiting (turning right onto Bastogne Ave). Distribution will begin at 8:30am and this will be on a first come first serve basis.

BACH offers walk-in school and sports physicals for TRICARE beneficiaries, July 16 and 23. School and/or sports physicals are required for:

• any child entering Christian County or Clarksville-Montgomery County schools for the first time
• any adolescent who enrolls in the 6th grade in Christian County or Fort Campbell Schools
• any adolescent who is entering the 7th grade in Tennessee
• any student participating in school organized sports
• any youth participating in Fort Campbell’s organized sport programs

Hello,

I’m 1SG Green’s wife and it was nice meeting our families on Saturday. Since, this is the first deployment for several families, I wanted to share how to create a deployment wall for your kids.

When it comes to creating a deployment wall, the right setup is up to you. You can make it simple or make it as elaborate as you want.

There are no rules.

The deployment wall will help your kids visualize where your solider is located.

I don’t add a calendar or countdown the days on our wall. Your solider’s homecoming date will change a few times before your get an actual date. Your kid(s) may get disappointed if you tell them an exact date, and your solider doesn’t come home that day.
