🎉 Irwin Field Day is almost here! 🎉

We need YOUR help to make this day extra fun and successful for our students! Irwin PTO and Coach Hill are looking for volunteers to help run stations and activities during Field Day.

🗓️ Field Day: May 27th
⏰ 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM

Volunteers will be provided lunch, chips, and drinks as a thank-you for helping out! 🌭🥤

Whether you can help for part of the day or the whole event, we would greatly appreciate your support. Let’s make this a fun and memorable day for our kids! ❤️🖤

The PTO has purchased a limited number of yearbooks, and they are now available for purchase for $25 each.

If you would like to purchase a yearbook for your student, please send cash to the front office. Once they’re gone, they’re gone!

Happy Sunday, Irwin Parents!

The 5th Grade Dance is coming up on May 28th from 4:00–6:00 PM. This event is for 5th graders only — no parents or siblings allowed.

The cost is $5 per student, which will cover refreshments, a hot dog, and chips.

Please send cash in an envelope labeled with the student’s name and teacher to Mrs. May by May 26th. No payments will be accepted after this date.

Only students who have paid will receive a ticket to attend the dance. We look forward to a fun evening for our 5th graders!

🍿Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week – Day 5🍿

We wrapped up the final day of Teacher Appreciation Week with leftovers from the breakfast bar this morning and fresh popped popcorn with sodas this afternoon!

We hope all of our amazing teachers and staff felt celebrated and loved throughout the week. Thank you for everything you do for our students each and every day! ❤️

All leftover drinks will be saved for a surprise for tue last day of school.

🍕🌮 Teacher Appreciation Week – Day 4 🌮🍕

Today was another amazing day celebrating our incredible teachers and staff!

A HUGE thank you to Papa Johns Pizza on Yadkin Road for donating 10 pizzas for our teachers! After the PTO purchased over 150 pizzas for the school dance, Papa John’s generously offered to give back to our amazing staff with this thoughtful donation. We truly appreciate your support!

Another big thank you to QDOBA on Ramsey Road for their generous 50/50 match donation. Whatever the PTO spent, Qdoba matched to help provide a delicious taco bar and make-your-own nachos for our teachers and staff!

We’d also like to thank our amazing parents for bringing in refreshing drinks to help keep everyone cool and energized throughout the day.

We are so thankful for the support from our community, families, and local businesses who continue to help make this week so special for our teachers and staff! ❤️

🚲 Bike to School Day was a Success! 🚲

The Irwin PTO hopes all of the kids enjoyed biking to school today! It was wonderful seeing so many students riding together and having fun. ☀️

A big thank you to The 16th Military Police Brigade and everyone who helped make Bike to School Day an event to remember. Your support and participation helped make the day extra special for our students and families! 💙

🍩 Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week – Day 3 🍓

Today’s breakfast bar was filled with donuts, muffins, and yogurt parfaits for our amazing Irwin teachers and staff! We also had orange juice, lemonade, and some leftover sweet tea to enjoy. ☀️

Thank you to everyone who helped donate and support this special week for our staff. Your generosity is greatly appreciated!

Any leftovers will be enjoyed again tomorrow and Friday so nothing goes to waste. 💙

Teacher Appreciation Week – Day 2 🍕🥗

The PTO would like to give a huge thank you to Bubba's 33 for sponsoring lunch for the amazing teachers and staff at Irwin! The salad and pizza were a big hit and enjoyed by all.

We also want to send a big thank you to our incredible parents for the generous drink donations—your support helps make this week extra special!
