When we asked Bradley and Savannah, “Why are you involved with C3MH?”

Savannah:
“I’m involved with C3MH because my dad served our country for 10 years in the Coast Guard and then spent 17 years as a police officer. He also volunteered as a firefighter for multiple departments and worked as an EMT. As a little girl, I saw firsthand the sacrifices first responders make to keep their families, friends, and communities safe. The very least I can do as an adult is give some of my time to help care for the people who spend their lives caring for all of us.”

Bradley:
“My dad, John (the president of the C3MH board), is celebrating 30 years as a paramedic this year and has also spent more than 15 years as both a professional and volunteer firefighter. He currently works full-time as a paramedic on the South Coast and serves as a volunteer captain with Westport Fire. I’ve seen him come home after difficult shifts, and I know there isn’t always something I can say to make things better. That’s why Code 3 means so much to me—it provides support from people who truly understand what first responders go through and have the skills to help when it matters most.”

Did you know we serve… chipmunks? We got to visit with “Chipper”, one of the patrolmen from California Highway Patrol today at National Night Out. Even chipmunks have bad days fighting crime at work. That’s why we are here! To help with the bad days that come with being a first responder.

The First Annual Red, White and Blue Run was a success. We couldn’t have done this without our volunteers and sponsors! Thank you one and all that supported us in this inaugural event. Special thanks to:
The Fort Bragg Chapter of California Waterfowl Association, Westport Volunteer Fire Department and Mendocino Coast Healthcare Foundation. Jeremy, Kristine, Juliana, Jose, Terry and Allie turned out and manned three of our water booths.

Finally, thank you to Soroptimist International of Fort Bragg and Noyo Sunrise. Without use of your equipment, this event wouldn’t have happened.

Starting at 7am, we had 101 participants over four categories. A special thank you to all of you that turned out to support our inaugural event. We hope to see you all next year for the 2nd Annual Red White and Blue Run, to be held July 3, 2027!

It’s time to sign up for the Red, White and Blue Race!

This event will be held July 4th before the World Famous Salmon BBQ in Fort Bragg.

Come out and walk or run for a great cause!

Kiddie race, 5k fun walk/run, 10k run and 1/2 marathon events will start at the Noyo Headlands Park, with the race course taking you along some of the best coastal views in California.

Are you a first responder? Please wear your department tee/sweatshirt! Once you are done with race, you can take in the fun Mendocino 4th of July Parade and/or go to the World Famous Salmon BBQ. Finally, finish your day with spectacular fire works (or fog works) over Noyo Bay!
