Meet PEEC's Fall 2026 Naturalist Team ⭐️

We kicked off our fall season with our first group yesterday, and we are excited to see all our school groups this fall!

Meet Alyssa, aka "Brook"!

If you've been to PEEC before, chances are you've already met her as one of our incredible naturalists. This July, she stepped into her new role as Program Coordinator, and she's already been doing so much behind the scenes to help make our programs a success.

We're so excited to see her thrive in this position and are incredibly grateful to have her on the team. Congratulations, Brook! 💚

Here at PEEC, we are grateful for our community of students, families, educators, and supporters who believe in the power of outdoor learning.

Every day while at PEEC, students step onto our trails and discover something new— a salamander under a log, a fresh perspective, a spark for science.

This Giving Tuesday, help us keep those moments alive.

Your donation ensures all students have access to hands-on outdoor learning.

💚 Give today and support curiosity in the wild!

Here at PEEC we are feeling so grateful to have been chosen as the charity recipient for the 15th Annual Fort Bragg Ice Bowl, presented by Fort Bragg Transmission & Auto, and supported by Harvest Market and Fort Bragg Septic.

Thank you to the Norcal Winter Charity Series (NWCS) for choosing us and putting together an awesome tournament, and thank you to the 86 players who competed! We also want to thank The alley grill food truck and Taqueria Los Primos for making delicious food for players and public, and donating a portion of sales to our event!

Thank you to anyone who came out and bought food or raffle tickets on Saturday, and thank you to all our local raffle donors! This event raised over $4,000 for PEEC camperships, specifically for students in Mendocino County. These proceeds make it possible for local students to participate in our program! Thank you all for helping PEEC continue to provide quality environmental education to students in Northern California.
