On December 8, 2025, Fort Bragg Garden Club had its Holiday Potluck and Plant Exchange at the First Presbyterian Church in Fort Bragg.

Plant nectar-rich flowers to keep butterflies fueled all season long! 🦋🌸
1. Milkweed — Monarch host plant, long-blooming, full sun, Zones 3–9.
2. Coneflowers — Pollinator magnet, drought-tolerant, full sun, Zones 3–9.
3. Bee Balm — Hummingbird & butterfly favorite, full sun/part shade, Zones 3–9.
4. Zinnias — Fast blooms all summer, full sun annual, all zones.
5. Lantanas — Heat-loving nectar plant, full sun, Zones 7–11 (annual elsewhere).
6. Verbena — Long-blooming airy clusters, full sun, Zones 7–11.
7. Coreopsis — Masses of yellow blooms, drought-tolerant, full sun, Zones 4–9.
8. Cosmos — Light, airy flowers, thrives in poor soil, full sun annual, all zones.
