Cobra Co, 4-70 AR

Cobra Co, 4-70 AR Commander: CPT Sean Reardon
First Sergeant: 1SG Anthony Roberts
Official Facebook of Cobra Co The SFRG assists unit commanders in three ways.

As a company level operation, the SFRG is a command-sponsored organization of all assigned Soldiers (married and single), volunteers, and their families that together provide mutual support and assistance and a network of communications among the family members, chain of command, and community resources. While all of these individuals are automatically considered members of the SFRG, participation

is voluntary. The SFRG plays a vital role in assisting unit commanders with military and personal development preparedness and enhancing family readiness of Soldiers and families. First, the SFRG conducts activities that enhance the flow of information between command and families. The SFRG provides feedback on the state of the unit's families to the command and disseminates information to families received from the command. Secondly, the SFRG encourages resiliency among the members by providing information, referral assistance and mutual concern. Finally, the SFRG provides activities and support that enhance the well-being and esprit de corps within the unit.

As Cobra starts Summer Block Leave here are some photos that show how hard your loved one has been working. It’s been a busy few months full of quality training, Cobra has definitely earned some time off. Enjoy the next two weeks and standby for more great photos to come.

Good evening Cobra family, it is a sincere pleasure to introduce myself to you all. It is clear to me that I have inherited a tremendous group of service members from CPT Connell. I look forward to leading your loved ones throughout the next year or more. Please continue to provide the love and support to the Soldiers of Cobra Company that allows them to continuously establish us as the best Infantry Company in the Brigade. I look forward to sharing images and videos of your loved ones throughout all of our upcoming training.

Cobra families! I hope you’re all having a wonderful weekend. For those of you that haven’t heard, Cobra had a change of command on Friday. Although I will no longer be the commander of Cobra Company, I will be remaining in the battalion for another year or so with HHC. I regret not getting to know more of you, but I’m honored to have served with your Soldiers over the past year. I’ll let CPT Reardon introduce himself, but you should know that Cobra is in excellent hands with him at the healm. Thank you all for your continued service and Cobra Kai! -CPT Connell
