Hey everyone! The Fishing Derby is quickly approaching. Here is a reminder and quick rundown!

June 2, 3 and 4

Friday at 5 pm: Mandatory Meeting on the Levee
Registration begins: Friday at 3 pm
Saturday weigh ins: before 5 pm
Sunday(FINAL) weigh ins: 1 pm. Whoever is last in line at 1 pm is the very last weigh in!!!!!

Fishing Buddies*
This program is tailored to children who need the basics to start fishing. Also there are adults to teach children, if needed. We have 10 set ups! **I do ask if you were a recipient last year, please leave room for new kiddos this year!

Hello Everyone!

We are still in desperate need of donations for our Fishing Buddy program this year.

Last year we were able to assist 15 kids with fishing poles and other gear due to the generosity of donors. It was incredible watching some of them fish. Their smiles were a mile wide!

This year we would like to help the same number of kids as last year, with the addition of the Fishing Derby teaching the how to set up their poles and fish!

Fishing Buddy Post**
We are just 2 weeks away, and still accepting donations for the fishing buddy program! The fishing buddy program is tailored to kids who do not have a fishing set up. There is also adults around to teach them to fish if they do not have adults that know how to fish either! This year I am adding on a "class" with teaching the kids how to tie their own knot! We have had a few donors so far:
Jake Willson- Fishing pole kits!
Lisa Friedrich- Kids camping chairs
Danielle Maestes- Tackle boxes
