Its OFFICAL!! We have launched our new page and finished all of our needed paperwork! We know there will be a lot of questions on our new girls softball league in Dinwiddie County, so please reach out if anyone needs information.

Couple of things we can tell you right now.
1. We will strive to have provide a league for girl ages 6-18 in the up coming spring.
2. We have one 15u team this year that will be competing for a State Championship in June.
3. We know of four other franchised leagues in the state of Virginia with over 200 others across the country so far in the 6 months since they launched.
4. We are working closely with other organizations to find the best ways to help this league be the best it can be and taking advice from everyone to try to provide the best experience we can for all girls of every age and skill set to learn to love the game of softball

By building a strong organization that starts at the local league level, Diamond Youth Softball hopes to teach girls respect for others, how to concentrate under stress, set and achieve goals, and to accept responsibility and failure. Like DYB, DYS emphasizes fair play, honesty, sportsmanship and patriotism. Through congenial fellowship and positive adult role models the goal of DYS is to help the participants further their development both physically and emotionally. The foundation of our programs are rooted in Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go and, when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
