This week, we’re hearing directly from the young leaders who experienced RYLA firsthand.

The Rotary Club of Folsom’s sponsored RYLA students will share their experiences from this impactful leadership program and the ways it challenged, encouraged, and inspired them.

Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is an intensive leadership training program for young people organized locally by Rotary clubs in District 5180 and District 5190. Through RYLA, participants develop leadership skills, personal growth, sportsmanship, and citizenship, all rooted in Rotary’s core value of Service Above Self.

Come hear from these students about what they learned, how they grew, and how their RYLA experience is shaping their leadership journey.

The impact of RYLA doesn’t end when the program does. The lessons, confidence, relationships, and leadership skills these young people take with them can influence the way they lead and serve for years to come.

That’s how we Create Lasting Impact.

If you’ve been curious about Rotary, come join us, meet our members, hear from these inspiring young leaders, and see what we’re all about. Guests are always welcome!

District Governor Nominee Ryan Jantzen celebrated his 60th birthday doing two things he loves most: riding and Rotary!

Several members of the Rotary Club of Folsom and Folsom Lake Rotary joined Ryan for the Sac Century Challenge. Ryan rode the 61-mile Metric Century, while others took on the 36-mile Half Metric.

What makes days like this so special is the people. Rotary brings together people who have a heart for service, but it also creates opportunities to enjoy the things we love together, build friendships and make a difference along the way.

The Sacramento Century Challenge, presented by the Rotary Club of Sacramento, brought more than 1,000 cyclists together while raising support for the Sacramento Children’s Home Crisis Nursery.

Service Above Self can look a lot of different ways. Sometimes it looks like riding 61 miles with friends, celebrating a milestone birthday and giving back to a great cause along the way.

That’s one of the things that makes Rotary so much fun! Find something you love, find people who love it too, and find a way to make a difference together.

📜 Hear ye, hear ye! ⚔️

The Rotary Club of Folsom hath entered the realm of the Folsom Renaissance Fair! 🏰

Our noble Rotarians donned their robes, took up their posts, and prepared to serve the realm… one cup of mead and b**r at a time.

But make no mistake, good people, this was more than merry-making. This was fundraising for Rotary, helping support the work we do in our community and the many ways our club gives back throughout the year.

And what better way to raise funds than by having a little fun along the way? Our club loved serving together, sharing a few laughs with the fairgoers, and soaking up all the sights and merriment of the fair.

’Twas a fine time of service, laughter, and a little Renaissance revelry.

Huzzah for Rotary!
