Bring your pumpkins, jack-o-lanterns and gourds and we’ll turn them into compost for community gardens, public school, and non-profits across Queens (and beyond!).

Fun for all ages:
- Launch pumpkins with a trebuchet.
- Sip seasonal mocktails.
- Spin the prize wheel for compost and store prizes.

Come say hi! 👋 We’re giving away 150 countertop food scraps containers (courtesy of ) to make it easier to participate by either taking your scraps to one of the community drop-off sites that are scattered throughout or by using the brown bin program. Both are great ways to reduce waste! 🌱♻️

We’ll also have info about our Compost Site Tours, Master Composter Workshops, and all the awesome summer events we’ve got coming up. (Hint: outdoor movie night 🎬 on Saturday, August 2!)
