🚐 ARFF TRANSPORT EDITION— We are more than an animal rescue! 🐾

ARFF is proud to continue helping surrounding Texas Panhandle communities by providing transport for shelter dogs and local rescues who need a ride out of Texas. Every mile we drive creates an opportunity for a dog to leave the shelter, meet their rescue partner, and start a brand-new chapter. 🐶✨

This weekend we helped 40 dogs make their way out of Texas! ❤️

Different communities. Different shelters. Different rescues.
One mission — SAVE LIVES! 💚

We’re so grateful to every shelter, rescue partner, foster, and supporter who helps make these freedom rides possible! Thank you to our ARFF drivers Cassandra, Alex & Henry! 🐾🚐❤️

🐾 WELCOME TO ARFF DJANGO - MEDICAL CASE 🐾

This sweet little pittie boy has already been through more than any puppy ever should. 💔

Django was found dumped out in the county with a severe burn running down his entire back. 😢 He had nowhere to go and desperately needed someone to step up for him.

Thankfully, he wandered up to a very kind home and they didn’t just look the other way. They advocated for him, reached out to local rescues, and worked to find this little guy the help he needed. ❤️

And now… Django is safe with ARFF. 🐾

Welcome to the rescue, sweet boy. We promise you that from this moment forward, you will know what love, safety and compassion feel like. We will get you the care you need, help you heal, and give you the very best chance at the life you deserve. Thank you to our foster Gwen for giving him a safe place to heal! 🥹💚

☀️ EXTREME HEAT ALERT!🔥

The temperatures are dangerously high, and our pets are counting on us to keep them safe! 🐾💚 Please keep your pets INSIDE whenever possible and make sure they always have access to plenty of fresh, cool water.

Remember:
🐶🐱 Hot pavement can burn their paws
💧 Keep fresh water available
🏡 Limit outdoor time, no pets should be outside for extended periods of time!
🚗 NEVER leave a pet in a parked car—even for a few minutes!

When it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for them. Please share this reminder and help us keep our furry friends safe this summer! 💚🐾
