The Flossmoor Art Council is proud to support the Village of Flossmoor, Illinois by purchasing a commemorative brick, with proceeds going toward expanding the community’s public art program. As a local organization, we are excited to partner in this important effort to bring more creativity, culture, and beauty to our village.

This morning’s dedication was a wonderful celebration! Board members Jyrell Keys and Abby Clausing were there to represent the Council, along with our talented artist-in-training, Simone.

Let’s continue working together to beautify Flossmoor, one piece of art at a time! 🎨

What a wonderful Spring concert put on by the Bel Canto Choir this afternoon! Carrie Bonanotte, musicians, tech and all four amazing choirs did a fabulous job! 👏

The Flossmoor Art Council proudly congratulates the Homewood-Flossmoor High School on the outstanding recognition for their production of The Little Mermaid at the Illinois High School Musical Theatre Awards.

Congratulations to the incredible cast, crew, and staff on earning nominations for Best Production, Best Performance by an Actress (Eleanor O’Shea), Best Performance by an Actor (Marcus McGhee), and Backstage Champion (Ash Komorowski).

This is a true testament to the talent, dedication, and excellence of the entire HF theatre community. We are proud to celebrate your achievements and can’t wait to see what’s next.

Floss-Flow Adult Night was nothing short of amazing! The room was filled with love, and that energy poured right back into every performance. The talent, vulnerability, and passion on that stage made for an unforgettable night.

A huge thank you to Conservatory Vintage & Vinyl for once again providing such a beautiful and inspiring space for our artists.

Thank you to Matt and Joelle Kuhnen for volunteering, you are both amazing!

Floss-Flow Teen Night was an incredible success! We’re so grateful for the powerful talent in our community! Our youth truly showed up and shined. Huge bravo to the amazing students from HF who courageously shared their voices and spoke their truth.

Thank you to Conservatory Vintage & Vinyl for providing such a beautiful, artistic space, and to Matt Kuhnen for making sure our performers were heard loud and clear.

A very special thank you to Theresa Tha Songbird for pouring into these teens with a two-hour workshop before the event. Your dedication to giving back to the very community that shaped you is inspiring and deeply appreciated.

We can’t wait to see everyone again at the adult event tomorrow night!
