Good day for our Firebirds teams! Let’s go Birds! 🔥 🦅

Sunday night Firebirds wrap: pretty pretty pretty good Sunday edition! Everyone gets a win!

9U walked it off against the Manteno Raptors 5-4 at home. Jones with the game winning double, 3H and 2RBI. Wright with 2RBI. 5K in 1.2 scoreless for Wright. Harris with a scoreless frame to close it out.

10U bests the Homewood Hawks 12-4 at Izaak Walton. Nixon-Darragh with 2H, 4RBI and a HR. Airey and Green with 2H. Medina with 2RBI. Gladstone, Myles and White all with scoreless performances on the mound.

11U beats the Lincolnwood Lightning 11-9 on the road. Toney and Love with 3H and 2RBI. Patterson with 2H and 2RBI. Thompson with 3RBI. Patterson and Kelly with scoreless frames on the mound.

12U topped the Homewood Hawks 19-14. Despite a shaky defense the squad was in control the whole way, with solid pitching performances from B. Kerr (4k), Takaoka, Lafferty and Orr. Takaoka with 3H. D. Kerr with 2H and 3RBI. Orr, Rudolph, Schantz (2RBI), Blatcher, Jr (2RBI) and Barzso (3RBI) with 2H.

13U beats up on the Hiawatha Hawks 12-2. Mora with a big day, notching 3H and 2RBI. Scarpetti with 2RBI. Bolkema and Tate combine to strike out 12, walking only 3.

14U played 2, losing to the Indiana Bulls 16-9. Leahy and Boyko with 2H each.

In the second game, they crushed BIG Baseball 20-2 with the help of D. Kerr and B. Kerr as callups from the 12U squad. Moore with 3H, Callard with 2H and 3RBI. Goesel with 3H and 3RBI. Jones with 2H and 4RBI. Myles, Boyko and Hendrix combine to strike out 5.

Plus an outing to a Windy City Thunderbolts game the night before!

For T-Ball Games at the stadium: There will be a ticket taker at the gate and everyone (players, coaches and spectators) must have their own ticket. When purchased you will get an email with an attachment. They can print that or just pull it up on their phone and we will scan it. Also if they go into their account after they purchase they can pull up mobile tickets, Apple Wallet, and other options. REMEMBER! EVERYONE NEEDS THEIR OWN TICKET TO ENTER THE STADIUM, INCLUDING PLAYERS!

This is a fundraiser for your organization. Families with children on multiple teams do not need to purchase more than one ticket per family member. Your tickets are valid for all FBBSB games.

Seeds of any kind, gum and metal spikes are prohibited. Molded spikes are welcome. Concessions, including alcohol sales, will be open.

ThunderBolts Game
Remember that every purchase comes with TWO events! First the youth game and then the FBBSB ThunderBolts outing on Saturday, June 13. Whoever purchased tickets for your youth games will be emailed the same amount of tickets for the ThunderBolts outing. The ThunderBolts outing tickets will be sent the day before the outing date.
