Just because the official Sock Drive has ended doesn't stop the need from existing ..🧦
Donations can be made throughout the year and will definitely be appreciated. The need for socks doesn't stop in the winter. When kids get out of school for the summer and enroll in sports, they need them. When those same kids go back to school in the fall, they need them. That's why we have no show socks, ankle socks, long socks, dress socks, thick socks, cotton and wool socks ..there's a sock for all occasions and they're needed year-round by everybody.
So don't stop giving!! Go to the FB page, look around and see where your donations go. Go to the new website, look around and see what we're all about. Like, Share & Support the Cause!✨️✨️✨️

Four Giving Hearts will host their annual Dr. King Day serving the community on Jan. 20th, 2025 from 1-3pm @ 411 Jarrott St. (front lawn of the P*e Dee CAP Emergency Shelter)

I was absolutely floored today to be presented the highest presidential award for volunteerism by our President, Joe Biden and presented by the Founders of C.A.V.E. (Community Action Volunteer Experience).
I truly don't feel deserving of such an award or honor. I started my little Cause back in 2017 as a small way to help the homeless in Florence.
I never thought I'd still be doing it and I never thought my efforts would get any recognition.
Today, my little endeavor to collect 100 pairs of socks and donate them to a shelter has turned into 8 years later-- a 501(c)(3) tax exempt non-profit organization having served communities in Florence, Darlington, Dillon, Latta, Marion, Lynchburg, Bethune, & Kingstree; collaborating with several existing non-profit organizations in the P*e Dee to hold service events.
From the bottom of my heart, I'd like to thank my entire C.A.V.E. family for encouraging me and having my back when I didn't think I was 'good enough' to serve alongside such amazing people! Thank You All So Much!
Also many thanks to the ones who donate each year--YOU are the Real MVPs ..without you, there wouldn't be an abundance of socks to donate each year! Thank You for Your Kind Hearts!
Thank You God for the Vision You placed inside of me and Thank You for allowing me to continue to never let the light dim out. Looking ahead to what 2025 and beyond will bring✨️✨️✨️

My next vision for S4HLF is to expand into new underwear & tshirt donations in addition to the new socks. We eventually want to cover all 3 bases and by supporting one another, WE CAN‼️
