Camp Adaptabilities Presented by SpeciallyAbled Miracles We will be offering Camp ADAPTabilities, a therapeutic summer program for children & young adults who are non-mobile with multiple disabilities.

We currently serve children & young adults in our Florence community who are non-mobile, with severe & multiple disabilities by offering a therapeutic summer camp- “Camp ADAPTabilities”. SpeciallyABLED Miracles Inc., (S.A.M.), was founded by 2 special needs families in the Florence community as a Non-Profit Organization to serve our Special Needs community. As parents, educators, medical professio

nals, and business owners, our combined Board and staff experience of over 40 years, has equipped us to be able to reach out, educate and most importantly, bring uninhibited joy to a group of extraordinary individuals & their families. This is not just a way of life for us...its a community of like-minded families who want to partner with the communities we live in and find more ways to live and work inclusively, together, supporting each other in a way that honors those we serve & care for.

Had some technical difficulty with my phone for the first 25secs but I got this video of our AMAZING campers singing "Down By The Bay!" This is a camper favorite. We sing it every morning to start our day.

Today is our last day of Camp, and what an incredible summer it's been! 💙

Today we went to Regal Swamp Fox to watch "A Minecraft Movie" and the campers had the best time!🍿🎬⛏️ We even got a whole theater room to ourselves!
We also too our last bus ride of the camp season! 🚌🚍 Afterwards some of the campers enjoyed making colored "sand" with Froot Loops and making paintings.

FMU Speech created a lesson today that took our campers "around the world!" They even got their very own passports, which were stamped for each trip before entering the plane! (Sensory Tunnel) They visited and learned about countries like Australia, Mexico, and Japan. They also got their hands stamped on a travel mural! This lesson was so much fun. Afterwards they joined speech to sing some of their favorite songs.
