Something happens when people keep showing up in the same place.

At first, you recognize a face. Then you learn a name. Before long, you're asking about someone's kids, saving them a seat, sharing something you think might help, or wondering where they are when they don't show up.

We see those relationships growing at FIESTA all the time, and they're some of my favorite things to watch.

Because somewhere between being introduced and being missed, something changes. You're no longer just someone who comes to FIESTA. You're part of the community.

That's belonging.

It's knowing there are people who notice when you're there and notice when you're not. It's having a place where you can ask for help when you need it and offer help when you can.

Throughout September, we're going to share stories about **The Power of Belonging**, not as a program or service, but as the very human feeling of knowing:

Your ticket to FIESTA at the Plate does more than give you a wonderful night out.

It helps FIESTA provide food, health services, education and trusted support to Hispanic families throughout Northern Kentucky.

More than 3,000 people connect with FIESTA each year, and approximately 210 families count on our culturally relevant food program every month.

Join us October 3 for a night of food, music, dancing and community. Your $40 ticket helps this work continue all year long.

We are so grateful to the Diocese of Covington for awarding FIESTA a $5,000 grant through the DPAA!

At FIESTA, we meet families every day who are doing their best but could use a helping hand. This support helps us respond with care and connect them with resources they need to move forward.

We have some exciting news! Be Concerned has donated a work van to FIESTA! ❤️

For our team, this is so much more than a vehicle. It means we can pick up food, transport supplies, and serve our families more efficiently and reliably. As the number of families coming to FIESTA continues to grow, this van will make a real difference in the work we do every week.

There is something especially meaningful about one nonprofit supporting another. The team at Be Concerned understands the work that happens behind the scenes to keep a food pantry running, and they saw a need they could help us meet.

FIESTA at the Plate brings together delicious traditional food, live music, dancing and plenty of fun at the ballpark. It’s a night for families, friends and everyone who loves celebrating our community.

We may be a little late sharing these pictures, but the impact of this day is still being felt throughout our community!

At FIESTA’s Back-to-School Fair, more than 15 community agencies came together to provide families with helpful information, resources, and school supplies. We gave away 175 backpacks that day, and since then, we have distributed another 175 backpacks to children throughout the community.

That’s 350 children heading back to school with the supplies they need and one less expense for their families.

A very special thank-you to St. Elizabeth Healthcare for sponsoring the fair and helping make this possible. We are also grateful to every agency, volunteer, and community partner who showed up for our families. This is what can happen when a community comes together!

FIESTA at the Plate is back! 🎉

Join us Saturday, October 3, for an evening filled with traditional Latin American food, music, dancing and community.

This isn’t just a fun night out. Every ticket helps FIESTA continue providing food, health services, education and support to Hispanic families across Northern Kentucky.

Last year, 150 people joined us. This year, we’re making room for 250, and we want you there!
