Today’s furniture delivery went out to Delaurence, who proudly served our country for 5 years in the Marines. When we arrived, he only had a small air mattress, nothing else. A difficult stairway made for a challenging delivery, but he's all fixed up now!

“This looks like a home now,” he said of his newly furnished place. It sure does, Delaurence! . We pray God richly blesses your new home!

Semaj was sitting on the porch outside her empty apartment, wondering how things would ever get better. Feeling pretty hopeless, she asked "Can y'all help me?" Today, hope was restored as her home filled with furniture! She was grateful beyond words!

Katelyn moved here from Kansas City. After living in a homeless shelter for a month, she was thrilled to find an apartment. She was so happy that the rain held off and she was able to get her furniture delivery today. Welcome home, Katelyn! And welcome to Mississippi!

Demarius was homeless for three years, shot in the leg two weeks ago, and all of his stuff was stolen. But here he is....alive and well and hauling furniture upstairs to his new apartment, praising God to be alive and off the streets! Your furniture turned that empty place into a home, and he loved it all!

Nakayla and her kids have been living in an empty apartment for over a month, and were homeless for over three months. She was so thankful for her new living room furniture, and so proud her kids now have their own beds! All praise to the One Most High!

The big grill rolled in to the city of Bogue Chitto this morning! With massive tornado damage and everyone without electricity, it was time to cook for the community. We hardly had the truck unloaded when volunteers started pouring in, asking how they could help! We met some of the nicest people at Pleasant Hill Church and 320 hamburger plates later, we were all wrapped up! A great big "thank you" goes out to this amazing team of volunteers, always ready to GO!

And next week, it's back to furniture deliveries! :)

Rain didn't stop what God had planned for today!

From homeless to housed! The music was blaring, and Alexander was celebrating! He could hardly hold back the tears at the sight of his newly furnished home!

Jasmine and her kids needed help. Empty spaces were filled.... A new dining set, new living room furniture, and beautiful beds for everyone! Simple things, bringing so much joy… and a few tears too!

Homeless and living in his car for over 6 months. That was Roderick. He shared some scary stories of living on the streets, but today he is one happy man, and "feeling the love" in his newly furnished home!

Bethany and her kids are safe, and they are HOME! It's been a difficult journey, but here she is...smiling and happy! She can't wait for the kids to see everything, knowing their favorite will be that new tv!

Ms Annette has cancer and has been in a lot of pain. It's been especially difficult not having a bed. No more of that! Tonight she will be sleeping in a nice, cozy, comfy bed! Praise God!

Arneshia has struggled with homelessness for the past 2 years, but now has officially moved into her own home! Her 4 kids were exploding with excitement when they took the first tour of their new home! Your furniture filled their empty space, and they loved it all!

Shantavia and her 5 kids were equally thankful for their furniture delivery! With new living room furniture and a new dining set, they now have lots of space to enjoy family time in their new home!

When a veteran gets a home, that's reason to celebrate! When someone is no longer homeless, that's reason to celebrate! GOD IS GOOD!

Gary, a proud Marine veteran, shared stories of serving our country in some very dangerous places. He told us he feels blessed just to be alive. And today, he was feeling blessed to have your furniture filling his empty home!

Reginald, also a Marine veteran, received furniture today—and his favorite item? A brand new bed. After sleeping on the floor for months, that bed was extra special!

Amber has been through some tough times, but hope is alive and she’s ready for a fresh start. “Y’all excuse me, I know I will cry!” she said, as we finished up her delivery. With a job, a car, and all this pretty furniture….it’s Home Sweet Home at last!

It is with heavy hearts that we share that Leon Buggs, affectionately known as “The Professor”, recently passed away with injuries sustained after being hit by a car.

We met Leon many years ago when he was homeless, and will never forget the day he called to say that he was getting an apartment. He needed furniture, and your donations provided everything he needed. He was so thankful and so happy!! That day was unforgettable. It meant so much to him to get a fresh start. He shed many tears that day, and so did we.

Leon was such a kind man with a beautiful spirit, and loved the Lord deeply. That special day, he shared a poem with us that he had written years ago entitled “This Day”. It moved us deeply then, and even more so now.

So grab a Kleenex, and take a listen to the heart of this precious man.

From homeless to housed… meet Melvin 💛

“If God puts it on your heart to help me, I will be forever grateful.” – Melvin

After a long season of homelessness, Melvin finally received the key to his very own apartment! He was all smiles from the moment we arrived—so proud, so grateful, and so excited to have a place to call home. And tonight? No more sleeping on the floor! He sleeps in a bed… his bed!

And there’s more good news…

Daniel, an 8-year Marine and 4-year Air National Guard veteran, is now enjoying his home in a whole new way. After living in an empty apartment since October, he now has furniture that’s turned it into a place of comfort and rest... a home! His air mattress has been put away and replaced with a bed, and he couldn't be happier! 🇺🇸
