Created with the intention of a lifelong commitment to give back to the community that gave to us. Jason McGee is also a founding Board Member.

Flint4Flint is a non-profit, 501c3 tax deductible organization. We are from Flint, MI and this is our way of giving back to the community that shaped us. Jamie Burton-Oare, Tywan Feimster, and Omar McGee are the founding and current Board Members. We believe members of Flint can spearhead the opportunity to take care of other members of the Flint community, when in need.

Flint4Flint is now able to accept donations via Cash App at $flint4flint. Our current fundraiser will replenish funds as we are dispensing for our second project. We awarded Christian Dunn $500 per month up to $6,000 for our scholarship/mentorship recipient Christian Dunn. We are amazed by Christian's academic progress during his senior year and his exemplary leadership abilities. Thanks to all who have kept us alive into 2025!!! This is our 9th year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please meet Christian Russell Dunn our first Flint4Flint scholarship recipient!!! As you know, we focused on helping a student who had been in the Foster Care System. Our Board Member Tywan Feimster came up with this amazing idea as a focal point for selecting our recipient. We are awarding Christian $6.000 over the course of one year including weekly mentorship from myself , Omar McGee and Tywan Feimster. We will have guest mentors once a month as well. We plan to help Christian finish strong and with our support, as he is a current student at Central Michigan University . Christian was in the foster care system for three years. He is from Oxford, MI but attended Job Corps in Flint and started out his college career at U of M Flint - He fell in love with the city of Flint and will be contributing to its betterment through community service and giving back as often as possible (as is a requirement of the scholarship.) There are 3 days left (including today) and we still have ZERO applicants!!! If this is the outcome, on June 2nd there will be an announcement of a MAJOR change in our offering!! Application in previous post for $10K scholarship to Foster youth former/current enrolled/enrolling in college this fall!!! 3 days left!!
