As a parent, you don't think it's terrible that children are being forced to endure surgery to remove a normal, healthy, functional part of their own body, an unnecessary procedure that could result in harm to their health, s*xuality, and even take their life!? Put your ego aside and advocate for your children's right to bodily integrity. Circumcision is NEVER necessary.

We believe, if you have the information necessary to see circumcision in a new light, free from cultural blinders, you will not choose it for your son. Your protective instincts will scream NO as far as the ear can hear.

Larissa Black: How much to cut? ✂️ There simply is no dotted line showing where to cut. Depending on each doctor's technique it truly is a total crap shoot how much fo****in a male will lose, and whether or not their frenulum gets obliterated in the process. I don't say this with judgment but it is astonishing what kind of total trust parents take in signing up for this gamble of allowing a person in a white coat to decide exactly how much p***s one's son gets to keep. Terrifying.

This discussion is also a great example of how we cannot rely on this procedure to guarantee a "look like daddy" or "look like peers" outcome since each and every circumcision is different.

"In our culture [circumcision] is viewed as a decision for the parents to make, which is where so much of the "who are you to judge my parenting decisions??" stuff comes from. I understand, we see our parenting decisions as very personal and of course, we all want to do what's best for our children.
What we are trying to do primarily is change the perception that this is a parenting decision, because it's not. The decision has nothing - literally NOTHING - to do with the parents. The decision should be made by the one and only person who has to live with the consequences. There are literally hundreds of thousands if men out there who are so dissatisfied with their parents' decision to have them cut that they are going through a tedious, years-long non-surgical fo****in restoration process, which will not even give them back the nerve endings that were taken from them. The point is, that could be your kid someday. There is literally no possible way for you to predict what he'd want, and there is no pressing reason to have it done. Yes, you should leave your son as God/nature made him, like 80% of men in the world, who are intact and whole. Surgery is not needed immediately after birth! It is done only because "Children Are Circumcised Because They Can't Say No". If you truly believe that cutting him would improve his life, you would let him decide that when he is an adult. As a newborn, fresh in the world, it will do nothing but harm him and the man he will become. RN, Mother, Sister and Daughter of intact men in the USA

Nontherapeutic circumcision of male minors is not medically justifiable and violates the cardinal principles of medical ethics, including preserving a child’s future autonomy, nonmaleficence, beneficence, and justice.

Let’s consider the importance:
Of body autonomy.
Of protecting boys and not subjecting them to pain.
Of allowing them to keep their perfectly designed body.
Of embracing and accepting the male natural body, just as women want and expect their bodies to be accepted.

The reason circumcising infants is illegal everywhere (literally everywhere, besides America) is because it is CRUEL and having your ge****ls cut off HURTS. You can not consent as a newborn. You can not have anesthesia as a newborn. And to top it off, circumcision is not beneficial at all. You’re born with a fo****in for a reason- females too! Be smart and educate yourself. If you have a question and you don’t possibly think you could ever bring your son home with his whole body, ask me anything and I will show you how easy it is it not harm your son. Ask me anything. I will fight the rest of my life for a total ban on circumcision. I’ve never been aware of anything much more cruel than forcing a newborn to have the best part of his own body removed against his will before he even knows what ge****ls are 😞That is extremely wrong 😭💔 and you can’t change my mind. Graham Richards - "Sure, men excrete a lubricant when aroused through their urethra to aid the ej*******on itself, and that spreads over the g***s, underneath the fo****in.
The main benefit from fo****in though, is it enables the entire skin of the p***s to ride up and down the internal shaft. No lubricant is involved here, it's down to the internal proper workings of the p***s. This means that mastubation and s*x are no longer frictional between the p***s and the hand or partner. The sliding of the skin over the shaft and the g***s is itself a pleasure, that the circumcised guy will never experience because without the fo****in the remaing shaft skin gets taut, like a drum, when erect and can no longer slide.
Now some women may prefer the frictional approach but this is absolutely no reason to justify paedocircumcision.

I’m not someone that thinks everything I disagree with should be banned, but this isn’t about my opinions. It’s about the sovereignty of someone else’s body.

Someone talking about female ge***al mutilation. How about the men in the USA who are being brutally mutilated by male circumcision? This leads to s*xual problems, pain, decreased sensitivity, and erectile dysfunction because men don't deserve pleasure like intact cultures do (Europe, Asia, South America and most of Africa does not circumcise). www.doctorsopposingcircumcision.org

There is so much information available now about how to care for an intact p***s. Why are parents even messing with it? The fo****in will retract naturally, when it is time and there is no set time limit. This retraction can happen as a 4yo or as a teenager so why are parents messing with it still, especially when there isn’t an issue? That is like me digging in my child’s ear canal, nostril, or a**s for no reason at all. (Am aware intactivist)
