Membership Meeting Dates for the 2022-2023 Season

September 12, 2022
October 10, 2022
December 12, 2022
February 13, 2023
March 6, 2023
Meetings begin promptly at 7pm, run until 9pm, at Elizabeth Ann Johnson High School

Beginning with the 2015-2016 season the meeting schedule will be as follows:

2nd Monday in September
2nd Monday in October
2nd Monday in December
2nd Monday in February
(Final regional numbers will be turned in, and payment for regional wrestlers rendered.)
the Monday after the Regionals tournaments.
(Payment for Finals' wrestlers, Election of Officers, voting on next year's Regional Sites, and drawing for available tournament dates will take place at this meeting.)

Tentative Schedule 2023

If you are not a member of a MMWA Club but are a folkstyle USA Member, you can wrestle in any tournament except Regional or Finals. Send your name, Current USA Number, actual weight, and the tournament to Lauretta at [email protected] prior to the weigh-in deadline.

To be eligible for participation in Regional and League Final Tournaments, participants must have wrestled as a member of an Association Member Club in at least two (2) complete sanctioned tournaments during the season.

Standard start time for tournaments this season is 9:00 a.m. Check individual flyers for details.

ALL COACHES: Must have a background check and be Safe Sport Certified. Anyone on a tournament floor must have a Leaders Membership with USAW. The only exception is for people working at the tables.

*Double booked: if the original club cannot get their school for the regional, they get their tournament back.
