The Flemington Science Collective is organized to promote social welfare by increasing public understanding of science and its role in everyday life and community decision-making in Flemington, New Jersey and surrounding areas. Our organization provides accessible, nonpartisan science education and engagement opportunities for residents of all ages, with particular attention to individuals and nei
ghborhoods that have limited access to high-quality STEM resources. We will carry out this purpose by organizing free or low-cost public programs such as community science nights, library-based discussion series, hands-on demonstrations, and citizen-science projects related to local issues (for example, environmental quality, technology in daily life, and appliance engineering).
