Flemington-Raritan Girls Softball League The recreation program provides playing opportunities for girls presently enrolled in grades K through 12. This year we will have teams at 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U.

FRGSL, founded in 1991, provides opportunities for girls in Flemington, Raritan Township and our surrounding
communities to participate through recreation and travel programs. The recreation league fees cover league expenses including: uniforms, equipment, clinics, fields, umpires, trophies and the end of season picnic. The travel program, the Flemington Flames, provides opportunities for those gi

rls who desire and have the skills to play a higher level of competitive softball. Tryouts for the ’17 Fall thru ’18 Summer season will be held mid-summer 2017 for 10U and up. Tryouts for the 8U 2017 Summer season will be held in May 2017. 8U consists of practices/scrimmages starting in June, a short season of league play and 1 to 2 tournaments ending in mid to late July. Following record participation in ‘16, the Flames will once again run their three Spring Fling tournaments in 2017.

Interested in learning to pitch?!? Registration for the FRGSL Pitching Clinic is open! The clinic is available for players aged 6 to 12 (birth years 2014-2019).

Pitching Clinic Details:
- One hour clinic on Thursday 3/19 at JP Case Gym.
- Two separate sessions available (6-7pm; and 7-8pm). Time slots will be determined once registration closes.
- Led by Professional Trainer (Coach Kiele).
- Cost is $30.

About Coach Kiele:
Kiele has been coaching softball for the last 10 years. Before that she pitched at the college level for Mercer County College and then Kean University, taking home All-American honors her freshman year. She pitched locally at Delaware Valley High School and holds the record for most strike outs in a single game. Coaching softball is one of her passions and she's happy to share her knowledge and love for the game with each player.

Registration Schedule:
Closes on March 6th.
