To better support students and families in our community, Ben Hill County School System was awarded the 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant for students in grades 6-8. Our aim is to provide a well-rounded after school educational opportunity for families within our community. The desire is to provide various learning enrichment experiences for children.
This is a separate entity to complement the school day, and will provide social and academic support to your child/children to better meet their individual needs. Planning and active involvement by the staff are imperative and parent support to assure student attendance is expected. In order to assure it's success, we need to know if you are interested in your child/children participating in this program.
The after school program during the school year will transpire Monday-Thursday from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM. The Summer program will take place during the month of June (half days Monday-Friday mornings). Transportation is provided. If you are interested in your child/children participating in this program, which means you agree for your child to be in attendance daily, please answer the questions below by Sept. 3rd 2025.
NOTE: We will notify you that your child has been accepted into the program.
