Honoring Officer Sixto Maldonado, Jr.

Today marks 50 years since Officer Sixto Maldonado, Jr. of the Firebaugh Police Department gave his life in the line of duty. On August 19, 1975, Officer Maldonado made the ultimate sacrifice while serving and protecting our community.

We honor his bravery, his dedication, and his legacy. His service to Firebaugh will never be forgotten, and his memory continues to live on in the hearts of his family, fellow officers, and the community he loved.

Please take a moment today to remember Officer Maldonado and the example he set for all of us—of courage, integrity, and selfless service.
