Come meet a few of our adoptable bonded sibling kittens today at PetSmart, 2330 Tiffin Avenue, Findlay, OH 45840. We will be there 2-4 pm ET!

Today's meet and greet lineup includes:

Sassy Beans is doing well in recovery from her spay surgery on Thursday at HOPE Clinic. You can meet her this Sunday, May 31, 2-4 pm, at our adoption event at the Findlay PetSmart! She’ll be there with her BFF Buffy (they are available for adoption together) and Mittens & Nirmal, her two additional brothers, who are also bonded and available for adoption together. @

Yes, her paws are huge. She is a polydactyl kitten. ❀️ A polydactyl kitten is born with a physical anomaly that gives them extra toes on one or more of their paws. They are often called "mitten cats" or "Hemingway cats." The author Ernest Hemingway loved and owned dozens of polydactyl cats at his home in Key West. The trait is caused by an inheritable genetic mutation. It is completely natural and frequently seen in breeds like Maine C***s.

Sassy Beans and her brothers were born in Findlay, Ohio to a feral Mama Cat. She took great care of her kittens and is now fixed. Mama Cat was very lucky that a wonderful person made an enclosure for the kittens in her garage so that the Mom could take care of the kittens but also have the freedom to get away as needed. This is real life kitten rescue. Thanks to their foster mom Melanie for taking great care of them! ❀️

Today is a big day for baby Chai Latte! 🧑 He finished the last of his ringworm treatment last night and he is ringworm free! πŸŽ‰πŸŽŠπŸŽ‰

It has been a long 5 weeks from when we first detected the ringworm, and it was heartbreaking to put a small kitten in quarantine, but he is doing great and he is back with his BFF Lucky!! She also ended up getting ringworm so at least they are in this together!

Ringworm is a lot of work, but it is totally treatable. We used both oral medication and topical ointment prescribed by Dr. Katie Frederick at Flag City Mobile Veterinary Clinic and washable or disposable toys, bedding, litter boxes, etc. We have gone through lots of Rescue spray disinfecting and used lots of disposable gloves and p*e pads. To make quarantine a little more enjoyable, the kitties get wet food 3-4 times a day and empty boxes to play in from ALDI USA. These can be swapped out and recycled! 🧑

Sweet baby Chai Latte and bottle baby Lucky will be fixed in mid-June and then they will finally make their public debut - it was supposed to be at the Tea w/ Kitty Cats event in late April, but what can you do?…the best kitties in life are worth waiting for! πŸ’—

A huge, huge thank you to Dr. Frederick! πŸ’— When the ringworm was detected, she was able to get us the dosage amounts immediately so we could start treatment ASAP. Chai Latte was so uncomfortable. He was running - trying to get out of his skin - because he was so irritated from the ringworm so we had no time to wait. 🧑 Thank you, thank you!
