United Way of Hancock County Our mission is to measurably improve people's lives in Hancock County. We are all connected and interdependent. Living united means being a part of the change.

Everyone deserves opportunities to have a good life: a quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family through retirement, and good health. That's why United Way's work is focused on the building blocks for a good life: Education - Helping Children and Youth Achieve Their Potential, Income - Promoting Financial Stability and Independence and Health - Improving Peopl

e's Health. Advancing the common good is less about helping one person at a time and more about changing systems to help all of us. We all win when a child succeeds in school, when families are financially stable, when people are healthy. Our goal is to create long-lasting changes by addressing the underlying causes of social problems. It takes a community working together to create a brighter future

Thank you to the students from Liberty-Benton Agricultural Education and FFA for delivering Meals of Hope to our office this week.

These students spent their Field Day packing 10,000 meals for our community, and we are honored to help distribute them to our partners fighting hunger right here in Hancock County.

Way to make a difference for local families, Eagles!

☀️ Heat Advisory Update ☀️

Due to the high temperatures expected today, City Mission’s Low-Barrier Shelter will open early at 3:00 PM to provide a safe, cool place for those seeking relief from the heat.

Anyone in need will have access to air conditioning, water, and a place to rest out of the sun. Please help us spread the word to anyone who may need a safe space during this extreme heat.

💙Together, we can help ensure our neighbors stay safe and hydrated during these hot summer days.

We have such amazing partners in City Apparel+Merch!

To help meet some of our team goals for professional development, we were invited to join City Apparel's crew for a DISC personality assessment program with facilitator Matt Lauth.

It was fun to learn our team's birds (IYKYK) and the specific communication and leadership styles that go along with each.

Thank you, Matt, for helping our team Take Flight. And thank you, City Apparel, for including us in the fun!
