On Saturday, May 2nd, the brothers of Goodwill Lodge #313 came together in unity and fellowship to help celebrate a truly special occasion, the 100th birthday of Mrs. Verda B. Pipkin, beloved wife of our Chartered Member and Treasurer, Brother Alton Pipkin, and a devoted Sister of H.O.J ❤️

It was a wonderful time filled with joy, appreciation, and brotherly love as we honored a woman who represents grace, strength, and unwavering support to both her family and our extended Masonic family.

Moments like these remind us that our bonds go beyond the lodge, extending into the lives and celebrations of those who stand beside us.

Wishing continued blessings, happiness, and many more years of celebration to Mrs. Pipkin! 🎉

March 6, 1778; a powerful moment in Masonic history. On this day, Prince Hall and fourteen other men of African descent were initiated into the mysteries of Freemasonry in Boston, igniting a legacy that would uplift generations through brotherhood, knowledge, and perseverance.

From that historic night, a light was kindled that could not be extinguished. Today we honor the courage, vision, and determination that gave rise to Prince Hall Freemasonry and continue striving to walk worthy of that legacy.
