At Cleaning With Care by Michele, "Service with Heart" means showing up for our community both inside and outside the homes we clean.

This weekend, our team was honored to support the Ferndale Cancer Walk—a meaningful event that brings people together to remember loved ones, celebrate survivors, and raise hope for those still fighting.

Community is one of our core values, and we believe that caring extends far beyond cleaning. Whether we're helping families in their homes or standing alongside our neighbors at events like this, we're proud to be part of something bigger.

𝗔 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸, 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲! We were thrilled to welcome Sandy Martinson and her amazing team from the Ferndale Cancer Walk this week. On behalf of Barron KARES, we were honored to present them with a $7,780 donation! 💙

The Ferndale Cancer Walk was founded by Sandy, inspired by her mother’s courageous battle with a rare form of bile duct cancer and her wish to raise awareness, support local families, and encourage early detection. Inspired by personal experiences with cancer, the organization believes that finding cancer earlier can mean more precious time with the people you love.

This year’s walk was an incredible success, tripling in size and bringing our community together in a powerful way. One especially beautiful sight was seeing more than 300 luminaria bags purchased to honor, remember, or support someone affected by cancer.

Thank you to everyone who supported our July Barron KARES featured organization and helped make this donation possible. Together, we’re proud to support an organization that is making a meaningful difference for local families affected by cancer.
