Baby Besa had his surgery! He’s stable and resting with Mesa ( the world’s best Mother/ Nanny and daughter of my heart ❤️) by his side. Thank you for all you help and prayers. Please pray for his recovery during this time.

Zoe and I are off to Ethiopia 🇪🇹 so excited to see all the kids and my family there. I have told Zoe she is our official photographer so be on the lookout for photos tagged to Numan Children’s Home!

We have a new addition to the Numan Family. This is sweet little Arsema. She has been with us for 4 days now. She is extremely tiny weighing only 1kg 30gm ( 2.27 lbs)!
It’s late Friday night in Assela right now and up until now she wasn’t able to drink from a bottle, Mesa has been spoon feeding her formula. I am so happy she took her first bottle! I will be in Assela on the 12th of April and will be bringing her lots of supplies, including preemie diapers! Until then I am sending some supplies with We Heart All courtesy of Ali Sharp. Needless to say this little Nugget will be needing a sponsor, so If you feel called to be her person please PM me or email me @

This! I will be using this statement. 8 years ago I said yes to what God was telling me to do. I had no idea how I was going to do it, no idea why He asked me. I just obeyed, not something I often do ( I may be a tad stubborn). He opened every door, every heart, even in those who don’t believe in Him. Bit by bit Numan Children’s Home grew. This April we finally move into a home that will comfortably fit the 19 children and two adults living there. God has a plan for each and every one of us, despite of our abilities. Say yes!

✈️ Help Us Bring the Bags for Ethiopia!

UPDATE- Because of your generosity we have raised $100 towards baggage fee’s & $175 towards the clothing!!
You guys are amazing!!

On April 10th, we will be traveling to Ethiopia to visit the children at Numan Children’s Home. We are bringing clothing, deflated soccer balls, and other specially requested items for the kids.

Airlines charge $200 for every extra bag, and we hope to bring 2–4 additional suitcases filled with supplies. These bags make a huge difference for the children, but the baggage fees add up quickly.

We are also wanting to surprise the kids with Traditional clothing for our house warming!
