Majors Keath and Candice Biggers will be missed in our area. Thank you for your many years of service!

Today, Salvation Army staff gathered for a special lunch to celebrate and say a final farewell to Majors Keath and Candice Biggers. We are grateful for their years of faithful service, compassionate leadership, and dedication to our mission.

While they will be greatly missed, we wish them all the best as they begin this new chapter in retirement. Thank you, Majors Biggers, for the lasting impact you've made on our organization and community. ❤️

The Salvation Army Hope House is currently in need of volunteers to help run our programs. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking for volunteer service hours or an opportunity to serve others in your community. Please consider stopping by during our business hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (10 am – 12 pm; 1 pm – 4 pm) closed on Wednesdays. We would be happy to give you a tour and demonstrate how we provide our neighbors real help and real hope.

We do lots of good work in our communities but did you realize The Salvation Army sends kids to camp over the Summer?

Opening day at Camp Keystone is getting close, and important preparations are underway!

Cabins must be stocked. Kitchens need food. Activity areas need supplies. Volunteers need the tools to care for each child who arrives.

For many children in our community, camp is more than summer fun. It is a place where they can feel safe, build confidence, make friends and enjoy being kids for a little while.

Your support today helps provide art supplies, sports equipment, nutritious meals and the basic necessities that make camp safe, welcoming and fully prepared for every child.

It’s that time of year…the 61st Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival is this weekend, May 1 - 3, 2026. Please come by and visit the Salvation Army Hope House (booth 535) between Centre and Ash on 5th St. located in downtown Fernandina Beach. Come meet us and learn how we serve the community.

🌞 Camp Keystone is almost here! 🌞

Hello Nassau County! We are excited to help send children to Camp Keystone this summer for an unforgettable week of fun, friendship, and adventure. Camp includes activities like kayaking, ropes course, archery, and swimming.

Base Camp is June 15–20 for ages 7–12, and Teen Camp is full and you can get on the waiting list. Registration ends May 29.

For families in need, camp is available free of charge. If your child would benefit from this opportunity, please contact us for more information.

If you would like to help make camp possible for a child this year, we would be grateful for your support. Donations can help give local children the chance to enjoy a safe, fun, and meaningful summer camp experience.
