Well the season has absolutely flown by for the club. The last regular season tournament was on Toad Lake and we were greeted by gusty NNW winds and post front conditions. The quality bite was tough for some once the sun was shining but for others it was a whackfest! Matt Commerford came in 3rd with 16.57, while Ben Gervais was 2nd with 17.12. Then all by himself at the top was Chad Johnson who brought in a mega bag with 20.88 to absolutely stomp the field while also claiming big bass with a 4.78! Our fish off is on Lida this sunday, there will be brats after the derb but its BYOB đŸ˜‚. See you all sunday!

Well there is a lot of catching up to do leading up to the final regular season tournament for the club!

We had sunshine but high winds for our Dead Lake derby but that didn't stop Corey Haag from making his return to the club and dominating the field! Corey came in with 16.97 and the big of the day at 4.29. ! 2nd place went to Huston Wienckowski with 13.23 and 3rd was Jerry Erickson with 12.93.

Next up we had Big Pine! We were greeted with high winds and thunderstorms for most of the morning followed by an absolutely beautiful afternoon! Weights were close but Garrett Koster pipped the lot taking 1st with Matt Commerford and Chad Johnson coming in 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Our 4th stop had us on Stalker Lake in 100degree temps but that didn't stop the bigs from coming to play! With back to back dubs, Garrett Koster took the win with 20.92 and a 5.13 kicker! Right behind him was Rob Thompte with 20.62 and a mega 6.10lb GIANT!! Matt Holweg came in 3rd with 19.67.

Stop number 5 was North and South Lida. High winds and high temps yet again were the angling conditions and with a tough bite. Huston Wienckowski pulled out the win with 18.50 and big fish of 4.43. Ben Gervais came in 2nd with 16.70 and Jerry Ewert rounded out the top 3 with 15.16.

Our last stop for the regular season is on Toad Lake on August 16th!

Hey, I just want to put out there we will be dealing some extreme heat on sunday for Stalker Lake. Temps could be around 100 with heat indexes even higher. For your safety and the fishes please bring ice for drinks and for the livewells. I want all of us and the fish to be just as healthy as we started the day. We don't need anyone getting heat stroke, nor do we need any dead fish. Safety is our priority on sunday

Well the Mystery tournament sure was full of surprises! The smallmouth came into play but not until much later in the day for most! Smallies were pulling up to bed all over Rush in the afternoon but the real story was the big largemouth that showed up for many! Zack Cossette brought in a very nice bag of greens for 18.36 and 4th place. Matt Holweg came in 3rd with all browns with 18.54. Garrett Koster had a very nice bag of smallies with 18.98. Unfortunately he was barely beat out by Thor Swanson who had a mixed bag with 19.00 and a giant largemouth that tipped the scales at 4.81 to give him the win and big fish!

Next stop is Dead Lake on June 14yh!

Hello everyone, the time has come to reveal the Mystery Tournament and this year it is being held on LCR! We will be blasting off from Lizzie's public access. Given the forecast, holiday weekend and potential lower water levels, I'm going to ask everyone to idle the short shallow flat on the south side of Lizzie going into Rush. Traffic on the lake could be quite high on Monday and I want us acting respectfully and safely. Once you are in the deeper part of the channel, feel free to get up on plane and go. This goes for those leaving or entering Lizzie. I know it's an inconvenience, but its a minor one and should only take a minute. Thank you for your understanding! Side bets are on, $10 for big fish and $10 for big bag and as always it is completely optional. Lizzie is off limits until Monday morning.

In case you forgot or didn't see, the yearly fees this year are $125 to pay for the new scale.

I can't wait to see everyone Monday at Lizzie! Except Corey Haag.
