Vision is powerful… but one of the greatest mistakes people make is assuming everyone connected to the vision is connected the same way.
As we continue building and leading, God showed us there are 3 Levels of Vision:
1️⃣ Assigned to the Vision
These are the pillars. The builders. The people called to the assignment. They carry the weight of the vision even when nobody is clapping. They stay committed through pressure, sacrifice, growth, and process. They don’t just attend… they build.
2️⃣ A Part of the Vision
These individuals play a role in the vision, but often for a season. Their contribution matters, but their connection may be temporary, transitional, or purpose-specific. They help push the vision forward, but they may not be called to carry it long term.
3️⃣ Followers of the Vision
These are the observers and supporters from a distance. They believe in what’s happening, celebrate the growth, engage when they can, and may support periodically but they are not deeply planted in the daily weight or responsibility of the assignment.
The wisdom is learning how to identify who is who… because frustration happens when we expect followers to function like pillars.
Every level matters.
Every role has value.
But vision becomes healthier when you understand capacity, commitment, and calling.
Big visions require structure.
Clear vision requires discernment.
And lasting vision requires builders.
