Our mission is to empower new and emerging Black and Brown community leaders, returning citizens and community-rooted organizations through;

Capacity Building - teaching the tools to build a seat at the table,

Policy Advocacy - building acumen for lasting transformative change, and

Positive Youth Justice - investing in the next generation of Black and Brown leadership. Utilizing the Credible

Messengers Model we are focused on cultivating racial justice through the proactive reinforcement of policies, practices, attitudes, and actions that produce equitable power, access, opportunities, treatment, impacts and outcomes for Black and Brown leaders, empowering young people and strengthening our impacted communities to collective success.

Pizza, popsicles, and people. 🍕🍧

Sometimes outreach is as simple as showing up, sharing a meal, and making space for people to connect.

We had a great time getting out into the community with King County Housing Authority for some Pizza & Popsicles. No big agenda; just good food, good conversations, and another opportunity to build relationships where people live.

That’s what being a credible messenger looks like. Show up. Build trust. Stay connected.

This cohort didn’t just complete a training; they strengthened a community. They showed up, shared their stories, challenged one another, and committed to being a source of hope for others.

We’re grateful to partner with KCHA in creating pathways to support, opportunity, and healing for the communities we serve. Through collaboration, we’re able to meet people where they are, strengthen connections, and help build a future where everyone has access to the resources they need to thrive.
