Our mission is to empower new and emerging Black and Brown community leaders, returning citizens and community-rooted organizations through;

Capacity Building - teaching the tools to build a seat at the table,

Policy Advocacy - building acumen for lasting transformative change, and

Positive Youth Justice - investing in the next generation of Black and Brown leadership. Utilizing the Credible Messengers Model we are focused on cultivating racial justice through the proactive reinforcement of policies, practices, attitudes, and actions that produce equitable power, access, opportunities, treatment, impacts and outcomes for Black and Brown leaders, empowering young people and strengthening our impacted communities to collective success.

We are currently enrolling youth and young adults in two of our community programs: Rooted and Rising and Unlocked Futures.

Both programs provide participants with mentorship, individualized support, positive activities, and opportunities for personal growth. Participants may also receive support with education, employment, life skills, goal setting, and accessing community resources.

If you or someone you know is interested in enrolling or learning more, please email [email protected].

Pizza, popsicles, and people. 🍕🍧

Sometimes outreach is as simple as showing up, sharing a meal, and making space for people to connect.

We had a great time getting out into the community with King County Housing Authority for some Pizza & Popsicles. No big agenda; just good food, good conversations, and another opportunity to build relationships where people live.

That’s what being a credible messenger looks like. Show up. Build trust. Stay connected.

Every new Certified Peer Counselor represents another person ready to walk alongside someone on their healing journey.

This cohort didn’t just complete a training; they strengthened a community. They showed up, shared their stories, challenged one another, and committed to being a source of hope for others.

We’re proud to celebrate yet another group of Certified Peer Support Specialists! 🙌🏾

There’s something special about breaking bread and building community together.

Shout out to the King County Housing Authority team for inviting Northwest Credible Messengers to their Juneteenth cookout. We appreciate the opportunity to connect, celebrate, and continue strengthening our partnership! ❤️🖤💚

First look. Big vision.

We had the opportunity to walk through a King County Housing Authority (KCHA) property alongside their team and begin imagining what’s possible when community-centered partnerships lead the way. More to come.

Strong communities are built through strong partnerships.

We’re grateful to partner with KCHA in creating pathways to support, opportunity, and healing for the communities we serve. Through collaboration, we’re able to meet people where they are, strengthen connections, and help build a future where everyone has access to the resources they need to thrive.

Partnerships like this remind us that lasting impact is never done alone. 🤝
