I'm so proud of your Good News club kids. They are very helpful & appreciate everything.
Today, in the older group, I taught Romans Road lesson. I saw one of the most beautiful things .. the 5th graders held hands and prayed for each other. After, a couple students received special prayer.
Y'all . This is what it's about. Teaching them about Jesus. Helping them to know who Jesus is and to grow in their faith. Also to equip them as they go on to their next journey.
Good news club is such a special blessing to all that come and help. I would also like to thank Mr Thames for coming and talking to our group about FCA . It's one thing for me to tell them about it, but another for them to meet the person over it and make the connection.

If your child is in 5th grade, please be sure to send them these 2 weeks.

It's a beautiful day for Good News Club today ! We are excited for club.
Last week, we sent home forms to pre-register for VBS if you plan on your child coming. They are providing shirts this year . What fun!

We are looking fwd to club tomorrow! TUES APRIL 7TH. We can't wait to hear about your spring break activities. Whether you stayed at home, or went somewhere, we know you had fun.
This is our last month for this school year.
April 28th will be our last club..
I'll be sending home a paper tomorrow with all the children. It is for VBS at First Baptist Church Decherd.
If you would like for your child to attend. Please get it back to me ( Sherrie Sons) by April 28th. This helps in planning and ordering tshirts. Thank you.
VBS Is June 3rd-6th @ 5:30-8:00 p.m. Sunday 7th will be closing during the A.M. Worship service with the children & Bro. Herb bringing the message with a meal to follow for lunch. Everyone is invited to stay and fellowship.
