BrotherStrong’s Black Men Empowerment Conference is more than an event, it’s a movement.

It is a sacred gathering space where Black men come together to heal, to grow, and to reclaim the power of their voice, purpose, and presence. Rooted in truth, accountability, and brotherhood, this conference is designed to strengthen the mind, restore the heart, and sharpen the vision of Black men across generations.

This transformative experience confronts the realities Black men face: identity, manhood, leadership, finances, faith, relationships, and emotional wellness, while offering real tools for growth, restoration, and generational impact. Every session is intentional. Every conversation is honest. Every moment is designed to empower.

Headlining this powerful experience are two renowned voices in leadership and transformation.

Dr. Joel Tudman, an internationally respected speaker, pastor, and thought leader, brings a compelling message of clarity, conviction, and courage. His voice challenges men to rise beyond survival, step into purpose, and lead with integrity, not just publicly, but privately.

Joining him is Anthony O’Neal, bestselling author, financial educator, and one of the nation’s most trusted voices on money, responsibility, and generational wealth. With transparency and urgency, Anthony equips men with practical strategies to break cycles, build stability, and create a legacy that outlives them.

Together, their voices, alongside powerful panels, workshops, and moments of brotherhood, create an atmosphere where transformation is not just encouraged, but expected.

This is where healing meets action.
This is where brotherhood becomes strength.
This is where Black men are reminded who they are and who they were created to be.

BrotherStrong’s Black Men Empowerment Conference

And strong families build strong communities.

BrotherStrong's Healthy Black Man Challenge
Week 2
Healthy Self - Rest & Recovery
Week of January 12, 2026
“Rest Is Not Weakness”

Brothers and Sisters,
Rest is not quitting.
Rest is not laziness.
Rest is not falling behind.

Rest is wisdom.

Many Black men were taught to grind through pain, silence exhaustion, and wear burnout like a badge of honor. We learned to keep going, even when our bodies were breaking down, our minds were overloaded, and our spirits were drained.

But this year, we’re unlearning survival mode.

Rest is how you honor your body.
Rest is how you protect your mind.
Rest is how you stay connected to your purpose.

If you don’t schedule rest, your body will demand it and often at the worst possible time.

This week, permission is granted to slow down.
To breathe.
To sleep.
To pause without guilt.

You are not falling behind, you are recharging for longevity.

God,
We thank You for reminding us that even You rested.

Forgive us for believing that exhaustion is proof of strength.
Forgive us for ignoring the signals our bodies and minds have been sending us.
Forgive us for pushing past our limits instead of honoring them.

Teach us how to rest without shame.
How to pause without fear.
How to trust that productivity does not define our worth.

Restore our bodies where fatigue has settled in.
Quiet our minds where stress has taken over.
Renew our spirits where discouragement has tried to take root.

Help us to understand that rest is not weakness, it is preparation.
It is protection.
It is obedience.

As we move through this week, help us to choose rest as an act of faith.

Amen.

Weekly Activation (January 12–18, 2026)
Intentional Rest

This week, commit to three restorative actions:

Body:

Get 7 hours of sleep at least 3 nights this week.

Stretch for 5 minutes before bed on those nights.

Soul:

Identify one thing that drains you unnecessarily and say no to it once this week.

Journal this question:
“What does my body need that I’ve been ignoring?”

Spirit:

Spend 5 quiet minutes each day without noise, no phone, no TV, no music. Just stillness.

Bonus Challenge:

Text a brother and say:
“Reminder - rest is part of the work.”

Conference Countdown
We are 12 weeks away from the Inaugural Brother Strong Black Men’s Empowerment Conference.
The man who walks through those doors will be rested, grounded, and ready, not burned out.

Closing Affirmation
“I honor my body.
I listen to my soul.
I allow my spirit to rest.
Rest is not weakness — it is wisdom.”

Until all have been touched... keep reaching!

Healthy Black Man Challenge
Week of January 5, 2026

Healthy Self - Body, Soul, Spirit

Brother,

This week marks more than the start of a new calendar year, it marks a decision.

A decision to choose yourself.
A decision to honor your body.
A decision to tend to your soul.
A decision to strengthen your spirit.

For too long, Black men have been taught to survive instead of heal, to push through instead of slow down, to provide for everyone else while neglecting ourselves. But 2026 is different. This is the year we stop pouring from empty cups.

You don’t have to fix everything this week.
You don’t have to become perfect this month.
You simply have to show up - consistently and honestly.

Every walk you take…
Every healthy choice you make…
Every moment you pause to breathe, pray, or reflect…
It all counts.

This week, we begin with the man in the mirror, because when a Black man becomes healthy within, everything connected to him begins to change.

God,

We come before You grateful; grateful for life, for breath, and for another opportunity to begin again.

We lift up Black men everywhere, those who are strong but tired, successful but stressed, faithful but wounded, present but still healing.

Lord, we ask You to restore our bodies.
Give us discipline where there has been neglect.
Give us energy where exhaustion has lived too long.
Help us to treat our bodies as vessels worthy of care, rest, and respect.

Heal our souls, God.
Touch the places where we’ve been silent.
The grief we never processed.
The pressure we’ve carried alone.
The expectations that told us we couldn’t be vulnerable.
Teach us that strength and softness can live in the same man.

Strengthen our spirits.
Anchor us in purpose.
Quiet the noise.
Align our steps.
Remind us that we were created with intention, called with purpose, and equipped for this season.

As we step into this new year, help us to choose health, not just for ourselves, but for our families, our communities, and the generations watching us.

We commit this week, this journey, and this challenge into Your hands.
Amen.

Weekly Activation (January 5–11, 2026)

Start With Self

This week, every brother commits to three intentional actions:

Body:
Take one intentional walk (at least 20 minutes).
Drink water before your first meal each day.

Soul:
Write one honest journal entry answering this question:
“What do I need most in this season of my life?”

Spirit:
Begin each morning with a 2-minute pause — prayer, breathing, or gratitude — before checking your phone.

Bonus Challenge:
Send a text to one brother and say:
“I’m choosing health this year. Just wanted you to know you’re not alone.”

Affirmation
“This year, I choose health.
I choose honesty.
I choose wholeness.
I choose myself — so I can better serve others.”
