Fayetteville Police Foundation Backing the Badge. Strengthening Our Community.

The Fayetteville Police Foundation strengthens police–community relationships by supporting training, technology, and outreach programs–helping build a safer, stronger community for everyone. ROLE OF THE FOUNDATION

The FPF recognizes that the Fayetteville Police Department, with 90% of the annual budget going to support personnel and operational costs, has very little flexibility to develop new p

rograms and encourage innovation. The role of the foundation is not to displace funding for basic law enforcement, or to reduce in any way the responsibility of the City of Fayetteville to commit the necessary funding for law enforcement services for its citizens. As modern law enforcement strategies and techniques continue to be more complex, the Fayetteville Police Department, similar to police departments across the country, has increasing needs to stay current with crime fighting strategies and innovative technology.Supporting officers and others…

🇺🇸 Field of Blue is beginning to come to life. 🇺🇸

Today, we spent the day setting up the flags for this year’s Field of Blue display in honor of National Police Week. Seeing each flag placed is a powerful reminder of the service, sacrifice, and dedication of our Fayetteville Police Department heroes. 💙

As we enter our 6th year of this honored tradition, we are incredibly grateful for the continued support from our community.

There is still availability to sponsor a flag and be part of this meaningful tribute.

What started as a simple way to honor those who serve has grown into a powerful community tradition. In our first year, we honored 100 officers—and now, in our 6th year, that number continues to grow.

At The Field of Blue each flag represents service, sacrifice, and a community that stands behind its officers.

Displayed May 10 – June 13 on Glensford Drive in front of BJ’s in recognition of National Police Week.
