We are SO excited for our food truck lineup at Fayette Pride!
Jamwich Food Truck is known for their one-of-a-kind flavor combinations always topped with their homemade jams and jellies. Their motto is "Eat Weird" and we are totally here for it!

Speakcheesy makes your classic grilled cheese sandwich shre, but for those looking for something more adventurous, they have the most diverse lineup of grilled cheeses in the state. Super bonus, owner Chef Hill is one of the founding board members of Rome Georgia Pride 🏳️‍🌈

Next up we have local Senoia food truck Lisa's Crêperie serving up the most authentic sweet and savory crêpes in the Metro area made from recipes passed down through generations. They even won 5th place of The Great Food Truck Race on Food Network!

And last, but certainly not least, we have another Senoia fave, Beez Freeze!
Known for their New Orleans-style sno balls, jazzed up with all kinds of fancy fun toppings, they also have ice cream, lemonades and more! These colorful tasty treats are sure to be a big hit at Pride!

"Marsha P. Johnson was a central figure in the inaugural 1970 Christopher Street Liberation Day March, which commemorated the first anniversary of the 1969 Stonewall Riots. As a trailblazing Black transgender woman and drag queen, she walked at the forefront of the historic march, cementing her legacy as an architect of modern Pride."
Her words are a reminder that Pride began as a riot and though we are lucky enough today to be able to sing, dance, and march in the streets, our work is far from done.
Joy is both the catalyst for our connection and the fuel for our revolution. We are here to celebrate our victories and plan for our next fight. In a time of division and oppression we come together to shine a light on what is still good in each of us which has always been, and will always be, the love we hold for one another.

We chose this image and this quote from Harvey Milk for our website because it speaks so perfectly to a man who chose, at the cost of his own life, to live his truth out loud. Harvey Milk's legacy is that it is never too late to find yourself, to find your community, and your purpose and that your life is worth celebrating. Pride events all over the world exist at their core to do one thing; give people hope.

Today is International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia.

Why May 17? On this day in 1990, the World Health Organization finally removed homosexuality from the International Classification of Diseases. While it was a historic milestone, the fight against discrimination, erasure, and prejudice continues every single day.

They are not only a Drag Icon in the Atlanta Metro area and the Mother of House of ALXNDR, but they are also the Co-Founder of Southern Fried Q***r Pride, an Atlanta-based organization empowering Black q***r and QTPOC centered communities in the South through the arts.

Vendor Call 📣 Come be a part of the very first Fayette County Pride event as a vendor at our Market! Artists, makers, growers, crafters, artisans, whatever you call yourself, whoever you are, we want YOU!

The market will be in the Courthouse Square in downtown Fayetteville on August 1st from 12pm-5pm. You'll be right in the middle of all the action as the parade goes by at 1pm with food trucks, music, dancing, and more activities announced soon!

And the best part of all? NO VENDOR FEE! That's right, this market is FREE for vendors (though if you want to throw a little something our way to help with the cost of putting on this event we certainly wouldn't say no!).
