At the Fatherhood and Male Involvement Conference, our fathers proudly received their crowns during the “From the Eyes of a Daddy’s Girl: The Influence You Didn’t Know You Had” session—a powerful reminder of the lasting impact they have in their daughters’ lives, often in ways they may not even realize. 👑

😎Thithialea White, Family Services Coordinator; Rodney Paige, ITT Coordinator; and Jackie Simmons, Family Partner, along with two parents, are attending the Fatherhood & Male Involvement Conference. Their participation reflects our continued commitment to strengthening family engagement and supporting positive male involvement within our program and community. They are already gathering valuable information, resources, and best practices to bring back and share with staff and families.😎

Hickman Head Start had an amazing field trip on Friday! Everyone had a wonderful experience! The CCR&R ladies shared valuable information with parents about school readiness, and the first responders brought fire trucks and police vehicles. They spoke with the children and explained how everything works, which was very exciting for them.
Ms. Antonia led a beautiful fairy house art activity using recycled milk cartons, and the children really enjoyed creating their own. We also went on a hike, and a kindergarten teacher joined us to speak with parents.
It was a very meaningful and engaging day for both children and families. Thank you to all of our amazing community partners and families!

Giles Co. Head Start's Kindergarten Tour was a success this morning! We would like to thank Pulaski Elementary School for the opportunity & partnership to make this happen, and also give a shout out to our families for showing up. Also, all 3 of our upcoming Kindergarten students got registered early this year, so they are ready to roll! Great work 🎉
