The Mayo Clinic has stated that 'The standard screening at Mayo Clinic is a 3D mammogram, but self-exams are crucial to notice any new or persistent changes in the breasts or chest wall.'

Three cancers that can be detected through self-examination are breast cancer, testicular cancer, and skin cancer.

Did you know you can visit your local Health Department and sometimes local health fairs and get a FREE self exam card and speak with a qualified health care representative about issues like breast cancer?
They often also have resources in both English and Spanish too!

Fun fact:
The Sherri Arnold-Graham Foundation has partnered with many community organizations over the years through which knowledge of resources and many speaking opportunities have come.

Contact us here (on facebook) if you have speaking/ ministry collaboration opportunities where we can come out to strengthen, uplift and or empower communities health wise and those who are in traumatic transitions.

According to a uclahealth.org 2025 arricle:

'Most women have no symptoms of early breast cancer, which is one reason annual mammograms beginning at age 40 are so important, to catch cancer as early as possible.'

We understand if you have a family history of breast cancer...speak to your doctor because you may choose to begin screenings earlier.

PRE-REGISTER NOW for your December mammogram!

We made it all the way to Charlotte for 'The Blessing of the Quilts' 25th Anniversary Celebration with Friendship Missionary Baptist Church Quilting Ministry, Dr. Clifford Jones, Sr., Senior Minister.

Over 119 on their active roster! God is great!
Over 218 quilts.

We remember our dear beloved friend and ministry the late Sis. C. Brenda Jones as we continue the mission to care for those by providing 'Comfort without Hands'. Dr. Sherri Arnold Graham a proud member of FMBC Quilting Ministry, was present along with Ms. Barbara and Ms. Charlotte Tito We thank our quilting instructors extraordinare Ms. Deloris Chisley and Ms. Karen Epps for leading the way in teaching us in the way in carrying on this historical art of quilting!

Such a beautiful message from the ladies of Gees Bend, Alabama MarryAnn and China Pettway. They reminded us that "God has a way of fixing things in a way we can't even imagine." And to stay grateful because God is great and worthy.

We are glad to be a part of the quilting community and look forward to carrying on the blessings of these blessings.

Praise the Lord for the donations from KSPP Knot So Perfect Pieces. Mrs. Alden and Mrs. Floy Herbener from N. and S. Carolina
