Some playoff history between these two strong programs. Seventy-First is trying to make it back to a State Championship game for the 3rd consecutive year but Northern Nash has other plans looking to send the Falcons home early. Should be another classic.

In the second round of the state playoffs, Ismael Vargas was selected to receive the Lloyd Foster Extra Effort Award for his efforts in helping his Seventy-First Falcons defeat South Johnston. Ismael excelled on defense with 12 tackles, 2 for loss. He also picked off a pass and returned it for a 22 yard touchdown! 71st Sr. RB Jayson Franklin is this week's recipient of the Lloyd Foster Extra Effort Award for his performance against the South View Tigers. Jayson excelled on offense where he ran for over 128 yds on 16 carries, and scored 2 TDs. On defense, Jayson had 7 tackles, 1 for loss and an interception.
