Congratulations to Cooper Matthews, this week’s recipient of the Lloyd Foster Extra Effort Award for his efforts in the crucial win over the Cape Fear Colts. Cooper, a junior offensive tackle for the Seventy-First Falcons, was instrumental in opening up huge holes for the running backs to run through. Stats told us that he had nine pancake blocks which is a huge number for an offensive lineman. This award is sponsored by Jimmy Keefe owner of The Trophy House and Clark Sporting Goods. Standing with Cooper is head coach Eric Hall. Congratulations Cooper Matthews! 71st Athletic Booster Club 71St High School 910 Preps
