There have been several new followers on this page recently, so I thought an update would be good!

Not too long after starting this ministry, I accepted the position as Executive Director of Hope's Choice. Hope’s Choice is a pregnancy resource center that serves families in Fayette, Lamar, Marion and Pickens counties. When I became ED, I basically brought Spark of Hope with me! In addition to biological families, Hope’s Choice serves the foster families that Spark of Hope was intended to serve. Please follow, like and share our page at Hope’s Choice if you are a foster family or if you are a supporter of foster families! Together, we can do big things for the children and parents in our communities!! 🤍🤍

Thanks to support from people like you, Spark of Hope was able to purchase these awesome swing sets for 3 of our foster homes! I got a great deal on them back in the winter, and it’s finally getting warm enough to really enjoy them! (Pic was taken on a much warmer evening…just now getting around to posting 🤪!) 💙

It’s been a while since I shared on this page…my life has been crazy busy with a job change, caring for fosters as well as my own family, and well just LIFE!
Spark of Hope has met several foster needs recently, and I pray that we can continue doing so. Please keep this ministry and all of those involved in foster care in your prayers.
A HUGE THANK YOU to Fayette Music Study Club!! I was delighted to share about fostering with them yesterday, and they so graciously collected items for our ministry as their Christmas outreach. I know these items will go far to help our foster families! ❤️💚

All donations should now be dropped off at Hope’s Choice (314 1st Ave NE in Fayette). I am there M - W 8:00-2:45 or am happy to meet you outside of these hours upon request. Thank you all so much for your continued support of the foster care community!!! 💙💙💙

THANK YOU to Rehobeth Baptist Church for your collection of paper products and juice boxes and to Southside Baptist Church for the backpacks! We also had a sweet family that collected and donated snacks for our Back to School goodies! Below are some of the items given to our foster kiddos that are going to school! Praying for all of the students and school faculty!!

Spark of Hope was blessed today with a HUGE donation of clothing, diapers, wipes, bath supplies, & McDonald’s gift cards!! The Tuscaloosa-Bessemer District of Women’s Home & Overseas Missionary Society went above and beyond! This district includes churches in several different towns including Fayette.
Pictured below are those that delivered the donations along with Fayette County DHR Director Jason Cowart and myself, Jessica Freeman.
