North Texas pastor Keith Craft of Elevate Life Church in Frisco has described the upcoming mayoral runoff election involving longtime church member Rod Vilhauer as a “spiritual battle,” urging congregants to support him as part of a broader struggle for the city’s future.
In a May 3 sermon, Craft warned of opposing “demonic agendas” and claimed Frisco faces ideological and political shifts tied to its growing population. He called on church members to “show up like an army at the polls” and prayed for Vilhauer’s campaign, framing the election as a fight for the “soul of the city” and God’s purpose in the region.
