Missouri Pheasants Forever & Quail Forever
Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever (PF & QF) in Missouri continue to set the standard for on-the-ground conservation through their dedication to landowners, partners, and wildlife habitat. In fiscal year 2025, the Missouri PF & QF team delivered conservation assistance on an impressive 129,228 acres statewide.
Their team worked directly with Missourians at every level, completing 3,440 landowner contacts, conducting 3,088 site visits, and hosting 124 outreach events that reached more than 9,000 people. Their biologists delivered record habitat impacts, increasing treated acres by 26% over the previous year.
This success is built on strong partnerships. Missouri PF & QF collaborates closely with the Natural Resources Conservation Service, the Missouri Department of Conservation, and numerous state, federal, nonprofit, and local partners. Together, they efficiently deliver Farm Bill programs, leverage funding, and ensure conservation work is locally driven and science-based.
In FY25, their habitat crews completed 1,775 acres of prescribed fire, installed 30 miles of firebreaks, treated 957 acres of invasive species, planted 90 acres of native vegetation, and managed 323 acres of forest habitat—benefiting wildlife while improving soil health, water quality, and long-term stewardship.
Through strong partnerships, science-based conservation, and an unwavering commitment to private lands, Missouri Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever are making a lasting difference for Missouri’s natural resources and the people who care for them.
