One of the best things with our project is getting to meet some of the most amazing and generous people that live in our communities. For the second year in a row Andrea Crane with The Giving Garden has shown with some beautiful flowers and a donation check-all money that she raised by honoring breast cancer warriors and survivors through the gift of her flowers. Today, today is a good day!!!! Today our Warrior Brooke rang that chemo bell!!๐Ÿ›Ž๏ธ ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’ช

All the parts of a breast cancer journey are scary but for most the biggest fear is when that journey includes Chemo. From the first treatment you start counting down the days ready for it to be your chance in front of that bell ๐Ÿ›Ž๏ธ. Its a sweet sound that brings with it the first glimpse of the light at the end of a very long tunnel.

Brooke you are a bad ass and despite what still lies ahead- YOU DID IT-You made it through the scariest part.

This ladies and gents is what gives purpose to this project of ours-the days that our warriors get to show this beast that even though it maybe tough WE are tougher!!!

We had the privilege of meeting this little fighter and his rock star momma a few weekends ago at a baseball tournament. We are back in Ste Gen at a โšพ๏ธ tournament this weekend that is honoring Rory and his family and couldnโ€™t come without making him his very own Pink Penguin bag. If you happen to be out this way swing by and buy some raffle tickets and food maybe take in a โšพ๏ธ game while there. Keep on showing this beast whoโ€™s boss Rory-we will be over here praying and rooting you on!!!
