Every donor helps restore what hardship can take away: dignity.

Stevie in Arizona was already facing the enormous physical and emotional toll of battling cancer when she underwent ileostomy surgery. Although she had Medicare, high deductibles left her paying retail prices for essential ostomy supplies she needed daily but couldn't afford. No one fighting cancer should have to worry about how they'll pay for basic medical necessities.

When Stevie turned to Kindred Box for help, she found much-needed relief. Through our assistance program, she received free ostomy supplies tailored to her needs, easing her financial burden and giving her one less thing to worry about during an incredibly difficult time.

Thanks to the generosity of Kindred Box donors, Stevie no longer had to endure the distress and indignity of rationing the supplies she depends on. For someone already carrying so many burdens, our support meant she could care for herself with dignity and find comfort in knowing she wasn't facing her hardships alone.

Your generosity becomes someone else’s relief.

Sue in Arizona has endured more hardship than anyone should have to face. While battling cancer, she has been unable to work, leaving her without health insurance or the financial means to afford the ostomy supplies she needs every day. As if coping with a serious illness and financial uncertainty weren't enough, Sue suffered another devastating loss. “A bad storm has taken our roof off our apartment, and we lost everything we owned.”

With so much already taken from her, Sue desperately needed help. An ostomy manufacturer denied her request for patient assistance because she couldn't readily provide her income tax information. The reality of her situation is heartbreaking. “I’ve honestly used baggies and duct tape as a pouch because I can't afford ostomy supplies,” Sue shared.

When Kindred Box stepped in to provide donated supplies, Sue finally had one less worry on her mind. “Kindred Box does things for people like me that I'm sure many don't quite understand. I will be eternally grateful for your support. Thank you so much.”

For Sue, receiving a brought something she desperately needed: relief, reassurance, and the comfort of knowing someone cared.
