My Uncle knows a Navajo medicine man who in exchange for one of our awesome 5K shirts is doing an anti-rain dance currently. I’ve been assured we’ll be dry for start time at 1pm!

He lives in Arizona but is confident location doesn’t lessen the effects

We appreciate Mother Nature cleaning off the race route this morning. Looks like afternoon storms are holding off until after the race.

Should be a nice temp for The One & Only 5K at 1pm 😊

Excited to see everyone tomorrow! We go rain or shine (although we pause for lightning). Come out to the Blue Ridge High School track and football field for day of registration and to pick up your pre-registration packets.

We would like to thank the Physical Education Staff for helping promote the Farmer City Chamber of Commerce supported event The One and Only 5K. There is an extra incentive for Blue Ridge Students to participate in the 5K.

K-3 - Get to choose activity for the day
4-8- Get to be PE Teacher for the Day
BRHS - receive 31 Extra Credit Points for PE

Proceeds from this event provide scholarships to Blue Ridge Students.

Awards given for costumes and pet costumes.
