Addiction Connections Resource Bringing people together to support well-being as a lifelong journey through care, connection, and community. đź’ś ACRhelps.org | [email protected]

ACR connects with substance abuse prevention programs, addiction treatment centers, halfway houses, support groups, therapists and other persons and/or organizations involved with the initial and extended treatment of substance abuse in an effort to formulate a continuum of care that adequately addresses the holistic needs of the substance abuse population. ACR continues to identify the multifacet

ed needs of the substance addicted population and incorporates this knowledge in service provision. ACR will serve as an advocate for the addict/alcoholic, his or her family, and the substance abuse field in general.

Understanding the spectrum, from experimentation to substance use disorder, helps us recognize changes, respond with care, and step in earlier when support may be needed.

The Spectrum of Substance Use is one of many educational resources available at ACRHELPS.ORG. Learn the signs, understand the stages, and explore what support can look like at different points along the way.

Waiting for someone to hit rock bottom can be dangerous.
Science shows the earlier someone gets support, the greater their chances of sustained wellness.

Not knowing what to do next is more common than people realize. Addiction rarely starts with a clear moment or a single choice. It often shows up quietly in ways that are easy to miss. When we understand the real facts, we’re better able to offer support grounded in compassion and science. See the full resource at https://www.acrhelps.org/beyond-the-myths
