On this Memorial Day, the members of Evening Star #228 pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.

​Memorial Day is more than the unofficial start of summer or a weekend for barbecues. It is a sacred day of remembrance. We look back with profound gratitude at the generations of heroes who laid down their lives so that we may live in freedom.

What a powerful day of fellowship! District 26 came together today to celebrate our Annual Whit Sunday Service. We were truly blessed by Pastor Carl Johnson of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, who brought an absolute on-time word. Thank you, Pastor Johnson, for pouring into us today!
